Kristen Montero
Music Teacher
Ms. Kristi Montero is in her 35th year of teaching, with the last eight being served at St. Joseph. She teaches Music. She received both her B.S. in Music Education and a Masters of Education from the University of North Alabama. She has been named teacher of the year for Weeden Middle School, Coffee High School, and St. Joseph School.
In music class, Ms. Montero helps direct the cantors for mass each week. In addition to this, the students also have opportunities to take part in the Veterans’ Day, Christmas Program, Grandparents' Day Program, and Talent Show each year.
Ms. Montero has one daughter and son-in-law and five grandchildren (two of which are twin boys). In her spare time, she enjoys DIY projects, gardening, playing with her dogs and spending time on the river. She attends and plays the piano for St. Joseph Church.
