1st Grade

Mrs. Franck has taught for sixteen  years at St. Joseph Regional Catholic School.  She has taught PreK, kindergarten, elementary math, third grade, and is now the first grade teacher.  Mrs. Franck received her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Alabama.  She has taught at Kilby Child Development Center and in public schools in Alabama, Georgia, and Delaware.  Mrs. Franck received a Master of Instruction degree from the University of Delaware.  She attends St. Joseph Catholic Church. 

Mrs. Franck moved back to the Shoals in 2002.  Her children Connor and Caroline, are the third generation of graduates from SJS.  Their great grandmother, Mrs. Evelyn Durham, taught second grade at St. Joseph for many years.  Mrs. Franck loves being a part of a community that has been in her family for generations.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, visiting her children, watching sports, and listening to music.  Mrs. Franck also enjoys spending each afternoon tutoring many students from several local schools in reading, math, and study skills.  She believes “Each student is capable of greatness”!
