4K Program
PHILOSOPHY
“Learning is Fun” is emphasized in our 4K Program. The children learn by doing within a Christian environment. Four-year-olds are encouraged to communicate with their peers, to accept the role of both leader and follower, and to have a good self-image. They develop control of emotional expression and physical movements. Their tiny fingers explore manipulating small objects and materials that exercise and develop motor skills. Their imagination and curiosity are guided into learning experiences.

As the students progress they are helped to: work and play happily with others in the group; respect the rights of others; be kind, cooperative and courteous; use and care for materials; work without help; share belongings and supplies; use speech in expressing ideas; express ideas creatively; grow in self-control; listen to and follow directions; face and overcome problems; develop motor skills; acquire habits of health and safety; enjoy music, art, and computer.

Most importantly, we strive to help each child recognize their individual gifts and understand that each one is different, with special needs, interests, and characteristics. It is our goal to work together to help your child reach their goals and to understand that God loves them as the individual and unique gift that they are.
